Default Author Category – WordPress Plugin

I have a multi-author blog and I use categories to break up the different authors into specific topics/regions.  I had a serious need to have a default category based on who the author is and not on a site-wide level.  So that’s why I wrote this plugin to handle it for me.  Just install this plugin, activate it, then go to each author’s profile and select the default category for that user.  Pretty simple.  If an author doesn’t have a default category selected on their profile, not to worry – the site-wide default category will go into effect.
